Another vote for California Car Cover.

  4. Another vote for Cal Car Cover. I've had four of their covers, for different cars that sat outside under hardwood trees. Get the best outside cover they sell, the extra money it costs will be paid back in enhanced protection. My O/T Corvette is under one as we speak.

  6. The earlier comments about whether California Car Cover and Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories:

Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories was started by Andy Cohen and Jim DeFrank and they were extremely successful and made an awesome product. Right around 2000, they sold the company to a group that ultimately ran it into the ground about 8 years later. Jim DeFrank started up California Car Cover Company, and Andy Cohen bought back the Beverly Hills name and opened Beverly Hills Motorsports.

Both Jim and Andy make an awesome product, and you can't go wrong with either company. First class stuff.

If any of you guys are drag race fans, you might remember the DeFrank & Cohen Hemi SS/AA Cuda Super Stock car they had that dominated the class back in the late '80s and early '90s. Jim DeFrank still races in Super Stock with his sons under the "DeFrank & Sons" name with great success.

Thanks for the info Flat-N-Low. As I posted above, I always wondered what happened to the original Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories. Always quality products. Not cheap but always a good value I thought. Glad both of the founders are doing well.

Carcovers. com's best multilayer multi year covers. are what I'm using. Outside is like waterproof tarp material and super soft innermost layer. We'll see how they hold up to Idaho. Not real impressed with how they fit the cars for covers supposedly for the specific models I have, but iff they keep the snow off the Chevelle and the cat claws off the 50 Chev, I'll be semi happy. cover1.jpg cover2.jpg cover3.jpg

As for me, I don't need a Ski Loge... I have a 70 Chevelle! LOL

  15. I will buck the trend and say that California Car Covers are over rated and over priced. I have two right now, NOAH series and they are both coming apart at the seams. The seams are heat welded and not sewn which makes them weak. In addition the moisture resistant coating on them wears off quickly. I am in the market for a good cover that is worth what you pay for it. At $300 bucks a pop I will not be buying from California Car Cover again.

Have a Beverly Hills cover that is at least 30yrs old--still good and two California covers of the same style that are old as well--all still good but only used outside on a few occasions.
