Technical 1957 2bbl 283, looking for advice

    Well i would not be too worried about it.right now im building a 500hp 283 bored .030 over and its pretty simple. Cam ported heads and intake. You can make power in many ways and i prefer a 283 over any small block with the exception of a 327.

    And if you would like a later 283 i have one right now that im about to rebuild its a 1966 bored .030 over and it has forged pitons and i can throw some other parts in if you're interested

    I can also rebuild it to the point so you can just trow a cam in and a intake and fire it right up
