Does anyone know of a good traditional hot rod Tire Choice that would handle well but still look the part. I like the pie crust but can't seem to find a radial in it.
Coker has several styles. These are the newest styles and also come in black wall but I think they're only in 15". https://www.cokertire.com/american-classic-bias-profile-radials.html I have these on my car. So far so good and they come in 16" https://www.cokertire.com/tires/coker-classic-nostalgia-radial-blackwall.html
I just replaced the bias ply firestones on my roadster with the American classic bias profile radials in the link above. Mine are black walls. 5.60 15 front, 8.20 15 rear. You have to look close at the tread pattern to tell the difference. Drives far better on the roads around here. Even my very experienced builder friend (40 years) was surprised.
