I, too, am curious as to why you would want to delete as opposed to just ceasing to use it. I won't lose sleep over this, but I'd like to know.
why close your acount , is there a problem , talk it out , or just lay low for a while , but dont shut it down , just my 2 cents
contact a moderator, they (we) can ban your ip address and delete all your posts. not something we like to do, drastic measures like that are usually only for spammers
Something wrong here... Sound to me, his wife or girlfriend my have hacked into his account. Because why would anyone want to leave this place. You haven't post anything bad or anything.. Looking at your profile you seem like a stand up dude.. and if it is really you sorry to see you go.
Yeah, my account wasn't hacked... I guess I'll just step back for awhile and take some time off. For those of you that have "been over'' I guess I'm just feeling alienated being back. I retract my delete request and will just step away from the consel. Later Bros.
It's a process to find your footing again. I think it took me a good year before I did. No need to delete the account, just step back, take your time, and when you return, log in again, and continue on. Good luck!
If " been over" means you've done a lap in the big sandbox you have my respect man. If you're back in the USA and things seem a little screwball surely hangin out here with a bunch of Hotrod pals would be good therapy ? I say stick around .... .
I have to chime in!! A thought from an oldfart, find some bro's that have been there and done that. Spend some time away from everything you can. Easier said then done, I know, but try. All of us will be here when your ready for the world again. Thanks so much for your service, you've been there for us, we'll be here for you.
That's too bad. I like your truck. Its nice to see young guys into old iron. You don't have to delete just let it fade.
I don't fit the criteria really either but I sure do like looking at you guys rides and projects. Also, there's a lot of information on here for an enthusiast to learn from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It was more less i posted a picture of a car that is the inspiration for my build (Larry Woods Boneshaker Hotwheel) in the description i explained that i posted it for the body style not the skull grill or billet oversized wheels.. but yet i got messages of redicule for the wheels and such... First post iv posted here and i get so much hate it did get deleted but like come on read the description of it before shooting me down... But im past it i just wont post anything but my own vehical from now on and if i get knocked on it ... ill leave but for now ill stay was just a lil pissed off because of it but hey ill drop the BS and get back to my project hahaha
Don't let a few naysayers run you off, Tyler. You're better than that and trust me, lots of us appreciate you being here. There are thousands of folks on here and a few can be pretty abrasive at times. Don't let the few bring you down....................Don.
You know this guy? He can get you outta here if you want. Relax though, you'll fit in once you get the hang of it. Rat rod and street rid and goofy wheels dont fly no matter how much you tell anyone to ignore it
Tyler, Hang with the HAMB. There are many like minded guys here. Usually, the "first responders" are the self appointed "traditional & intro police". Don't let those individuals posts speak for the majority of HAMB members. If you haven't been welcomed to the HAMB, let be the first to welcome you.
I know Tyler. he is a good guy. Probably didn't read the rules here before he posted the pic that he did. Tyler check out the rules here. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-h-a-m-b-rules-guidelines.44274/ Read and enjoy the board, there are a lot of really smart people here. You will get the hang of it I promise. Once you are here for a while you will realize as most of us do that this place is all about history. Building our hot rods in a traditional style is paying homage to the pioneers of the sport. Guys that had no 1-800 parts places, no boundries or guidelines to go by. As automotive fads come and go (and many have) a tastefully built traditional car will always be in style because it makes older people remember the good old days, and younger people find out what it is like to walk in their heroes shoes. So when a post gets reported and deleted, just remember it is never a personal attack on the original poster it is just the moderators trying to keep the board on topic. think of it this way, would you take a Mustang to a corvette show?
How written in stone is rule number 3? For instance what if the rumble seat gets rumblin? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
