    Cool!
Great score picking up that property!

My "taking forever to finish the mock-up" AV8 in our single stall in-house garage where it has slowly taken shape since Jan. 20, 2001. Currently have displaced furniture and ceiling tiles from an in-progress renovation taking up valuable garage space alongside and behind the "A" - Grrr!!! Also have collected pieces for a '27 turtledeck T bucket for my wife. Have a carport in front of the garage but that's where said wife's daily driver lives. The T's 302 in my test stand on wheels in front of the AV8. Managed to store the T's frame and rear end in the carport but had to stick the body at my buddy's shop (bolted to the ceiling!). Other pieces under our front steps storage area. Nope! Never enough space! Regards, Dave.

Only the front fenders are inside the garage. And the drive was to uneven to consider working on.

Hired an architect with considerable experience working projects thru the nightmarish county code gauntlet to build a two car garage in my sizeable backyard. Had plans drawn up and began the process of permit applications. Interviewed several legit contractors who all seemed to have sketchy reservations about my straightforward project and couldn't give a solid bid; I think partly because of my experience in project management they worried I would exercise too much oversight over their
work. I became disillusioned with the entire process after being advised by bogus soil engineers my foundation preparation would require expensive and, in my view, unnecessary compaction work. I rejected all that crap. So now I'm in the process of building a code compliant shed on a newly poured slab where I plan to install a code compliant shelter logic temporary garage. Not my dream garage, but will suffice for the time being.

26 X 30 FOOTER... Have 3 vehicles in there now...and 2 motor cycles. Just enough room to work on the cars.

My wife made me a deal a few weeks ago that I couldn't turn down. We have a computer room that is more like a junk room as I type on my lap top in my Lazy Boy in my living room. She said she would trade me the attached 2 car garage for the computer room. I told her I would accept 1/2 of the garage. I still think I got a great deal. Plan to get a car out of my 28 X 32 so I will have more room to work.

So an update on my cramped spaces... I decided to build a shed for the purposes of wood working. This will move the lathe, spindle sander, both routers, scroll saw, and other various tools out of the garage. Should be a noticeable improvement.

Will give you a much cleaner garage as well! Any time I do any wood work in the shop. The dust is worse than the dust I create doing body work.
But I guess at least it is a natural product. Not a mixture of chemicals.

    I don't mind chemicals. ;-)

And the sawdust absorbs well enough, it's just annoying. Lol

    You don't do very much.
But, you do what you can.
