I may go with an old shaft or do as Pist-n-broke said just run shaft and bearing...I wanna get this all together as a roller so I can move on in the build...if I have to drop the rack it will not break my heart but it will just set the build back due to funds...I'll have to finds something else to sell to buy parts..[emoji16]

  5. You mention Limeworks and custom making a column. That just sounds like big $$$. You say Race / Street car and no shift or signals and no tilt necessary. You show photos of building a car from parts. Looks to me like you have some basic skills. Why not build your own if you don't want to go the Junk Yard route? All it takes is a Shaft and 2 heim joints for a minimal unit. If you want a housing around the shaft you only need a piece of exhaust pipe the O.D. size you like and 2 hardware store buggy wheel bearings of proper I.D/O.D. Better yet is to use urethane bushings like used on 4 bar ends and press them in a piece of tubing and your done. If you want Chrome use a piece of S.S. and polish it. Not picking on ya, just throwing out some do it yourself ideas that have been done a dozen different ways. Helps keep your $$$ in your pocket.

Righty right! No offence taken man.. I just figured it'd been a well spent bill on a simple manufactured shaft vs running around and finding parts...but that's custom I guess nothing comes easy...but pays off in the end[emoji111]

Well Pist-N-Broke you can lead them to water but even if you hold their head under it you can't always make them drink.
I'm not sur why you are absolutely hung up on having and aftermarket column Rollinsixes but to each his own. As the guys said above all of the regularly available aftermarket columns use GM aka Chevy splines and hookups. Probably 90% of those get used with an aftermarket "custom" wheel and a horn kit. The other 10% get used with some sort of GM wheel.
Still the simple way out is to figure out what year and model of Ford steering columns that wheel will fit the splines on and go hunting for one in that year and model range at the junk yards. As someone mentioned the columns out of the earlier Ford trucks with granny shift 4 speeds are usually pretty clean and simple. It would take some fabricating on the bottom end but that is normal hot rodding.
Cheating a bit and looking up a horn kit for a 58 Ford car the only direct bolt on and work columns would be 58/63 Ford full size car. Note this won't adapt your wheel but says what columns you wheel is a direct bolt on with.

If you aren't worried if the turn signals cancel on their own or the horn works without an auxiliary horn button the ability to put the wheel on a Ford column should expand though.
