Technical SBC in a 1959 F100

    I have a 1959 f100 1/2 ton pickup.
    I want to put in my 1955 Chevrolet 265 v8 engine ft mount block
    Looking for info on "bolt in" Kits for this application.

    Sell the 265 to a restorer and put a Ford in it. You can buy a motor mount kit and install a 302 over the weekend. At least put a side mount block in they make kits for that. I put a 350 in a 64 F100 with a turbo 400 . Easy swap with trans -dapt parts.

    im doing a sbc in a 57 now... using a round type drop front mount..im welding it in too make it a crossmember... I cut the mid crossmember out so I welded a piece of 2x3 above the ******...use 1/8 channel for a trans crossmember..put it on top of rail, that will give you a good engine height...put 2x3 and 1/4 under the front mount that will have angle close. may have header problem wt steering box....try model a headers
