It looks like Canadian meteor side trim to me.

It's hard to see, but if you enlarge the pic it appears to say SASKATCHEWAN on the licence plate.

 

No, it's from a show up in Canada ran across it on facebook they have a group about the 50's that has some good memories.

 

Pretty damn cool whatever it is.

 

Didn't notice it at first but that is Meteor side trim. Had a 56 Meteor CV back in the late 60's with that trim. Always liked that trim better than the Fairlane trim that runs over the top of the fender.

 

I like that side trim too. Not a huge fan of the grille but a very nice period custom.
