    Hi guys with 42-48 questions:

Is it normal for people to switch the drag link to the bottom, after putting in a dropped axle? Even with drop spindles? It looks like they also flipped it around and then bent it the opposite direction! Its all jacked up.
Any one have a pic of theirs? Isn't
The adjuster supposed to be on the spindle end, instead of the steering end? I'm at least going to heat and bend the tie rod the same angle as the spindle until I can get another one
The geometry is all 'effed up![IMG][IMG] [IMG][IMG]

It is backwards. If you turn it around you should not have to bend it..

Turn over the drag link, then check for clearance when at full steer. Are those steering arms stock or aftermarket? Might need more drop in them.

Thanks, I thought it was reversed, also they are the aftermarket bolt on spindle arms. Whoever owned it before my dad heated up the natural bend and made it completely the opposite direction in addition to reversing it. I don't know what was going on in their head

If you need more clearance, I would replace those steering arms.

I would jack up the front end and put the frame on stands, allowing the suspension to fully droop. Then see how much clearance is needed.

As the axle approaches the chassis (compression), the drag link gets farther away from the wishbone. The only way it should need this much clearance is if you are catching air off-road (droop).

I fixed it I just got to do a little bit of a back bend on the tire rod end.
Also made an adjustable pan hard [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
