I've been scouring the interwebs looking for examples of how people are bagging tri-fives. Beyond just doing a four link and the shockwave shock style airbags in the rear, I was wondering what others have done, I'm in the middle of doing a 4 link setup on my 57 210 and it's looking like if I want to run a taller tire and still sit low, I might need to notch my frame. Does anyone have any info that could help?
seems that the maybe a tri-five forum could help all day long on this. I doubt this is anything new. keep using the search button or find the correct forum, website. yeah and like the last poster said this aint even the something for here. I mean come on.. https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=air+ride+1957+chevy
Thanks guys, I didn't find very much on trifive, and I've worn out everything on Google (which is mostly bolt on kits, or kits using shockwave type setups, like I aforementioned in the OP) I just figured there were more people on here that did custom type stuff. I found plenty of posts on here from people air bagging and notching 49-54 chevys, I didn't think asking the same thing about chevys made a few years later would be such a sore subject, so sorry if I triggered anyone in their safe space.
I'm not sure, There doesn't seem to be many doing them. Even on the H.A.M.B. I see a lot of people talking about doing their 57 Buicks, Pontiacs, Mercs, Olds, but not many Chevys for some reason.
C-notching is custom to each application anyway, so I would ASSUME that the procedure would be the same as the other years...no kit available. I would just study the way they did it on earlier ones and adjust for any differences on your year.
