I found a 55 savoy v8 auto 4 door needs interior what's it worth . It's local looks to be parked since 98 minimal rust.
Does it run? Does it move? Does it steer and stop? If interior needs a total restore job that is big bucks. In other words, how in the hell do we know? Its you money- you decide what its worth to you!!
Was just curious about it I don't know anything about it other than the pen used to make the for sale signs is almost illegible
2 many doors, 2 many hidden and exposed issues, 2 much money. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
...............................That's because it's been sitting there for so long since he made the sign.
10 years ago that was a 500 dollar car. That's why it has been setting since 98. In 98 it was a hundred dollar car. I would show the owner the cost of a restoration on paper and respectfully make an offer you feel comfortable with. They take you win , if not go find another project.
If it runs and move just make the guy an offer. If he doesn't take it just keep looking. Go with you gut feeling and good luck. P.S. I like the 4 doors, but that's just me. Bruce.
I think it's a little high. There are some more interesting cars on your local Craigs List right at this moment if you are itching for a sweet project and don't mind 4 doors. California is old car central, and you are smack dab in the middle of it.
Interior condition gives insight to what the rest of the car is like. This one looks long-neglected and not worth $3500 to me. It may be a nice $400 to $600 car at best.
It's a neat car....not $3500 worth of neat though. I'd say around $1000-1500 if it's solid. If the floors are gone, it's a $500 parts car.
