Hi all hope all is well with you and your machines

I got a question. I've been contemplating a move to the UK for work reasons. I have a chopped and two door converted V8 1953 Chevy thats engineered and registered in NSW Australia. Anyone who knows NSW laws knows that getting such a car registered in NSW is quite a bit of work and involves a lot of hoops to jump through to deem it road worthy. So the car is pretty good in that respect. I'm curious to know whether bringing such a car to the UK to register and drive is doable. Does anyone know much about the current UK modified vehicles situation and/or had experience with such scenarios?

    Cheers in advance, Hambers!

Importing modified stuff is getting harder but it depends on what's been done, like if the ch***is has been clipped, etc. Body mods on a non-monocoque body shouldn't be an issue.
Best you post the same question on the link below as there are some experts on registration there.

There are plenty over here , If they are fully legal ???? Any thing pre 1960 is exempt from any tests or road tax . so it a simple registration of the car & your on the road . But there are rule , but rule are there to be broken right ?
