Hey everyone, recently picked up a new project....a 48 Chevy 4 door that was in the middle of being built when the seller inherited it from his grandpa. Most of the big stuff has been finished and doesn't like much to be a driver. I've joined a couple online forums to get some questions answered but seems they aren't real active most of the time...hope that's different here! Anyways, a quick pic because everyone loves pictures.

I live in Arkansas over close to Memphis TN. I posted the start to a build thread in the custom forum with a little bit more. I've been a fan of everything automotive all of my life, I used to drive around with an auto trader and spend the day checking out whatever was close when I was bored! I've been into the offroad scene for a lot of years now with Jeeps, 4 wheelers, and SideXSides but all those projects are gone and I'm ready for the next fork in my road. I'm turning 40 this year and decided it was time to finally get the old car I've always wanted. I'm a ****er for the front end of these late 40 Chevy's and though I prefer the 2 doors, with kids this is more practical and the price was right. I had a 65 Chevy stepside project years ago but the timing wasn't right between starting the family and finances so it didn't last long...things should be different this time.

Oh, and I'm a Libra, like long walks in the woods, and love the sound of a throaty V8. LOL!!!
