ok, so this is going to be no big deal for you guys in the sunny south, but for us northerners, today sure felt a lot like spring! Hitting 60 degrees is no subs***ute for 60 mph but two flatheads were sure happy to get turned over. Anybody hit the road?
The warm is a relief to be outside again. But an emergency home repair prevented working on the car, and not even a cruise to the beach.
Lowering blocks pulled out, new shocks, oil changed and several runs around town. You have to love 60's and sunny in Feb.
Where Iam located, this is the cruel joke played on us every winter. Everyone gets all jacked up and thinks the leaves will come out next week. NOPE. Car wash places are happy. As long as there is still ice chunks floating down the Niagara River,settle back in and keep waiting. The weather will how ever be perfect next month...around March 24-26 for the Buffalo Motorama!!!
I'm loving it, wife and I put about 100 miles on the old truck to day, it was great to be back in tha saddle!
Had the old beater out yesterday and again today,warmer today at 70 degrees,I actually had to roll the window down. HRP
Installed new fuel pump, lines ,regulator, made brackets, more lines, and had her fired up. Unheard of for me to light this monster off in feb. GOOD WEEKEND!!
70 here! Had the 29 out yesterday. Worked in the garage with all the doors open. So nice to breath fresh air. Great to keep the spirits up, but probably not going to stay this nice forever. Enjoy while we can!
