I've been looking for a set of rubber step pads for my 48 Chevy 4 door. I found these... http://www.steelerubber.com/door-opening-step-pad-70-1118-45 http://www.steelerubber.com/door-opening-step-pad-70-1119-45 Any idea where I can find a set for less than $600? Kinda seems unreasonable for a few small rubber pads.
They are the only repop ones I know off that are made. I made new bases and bought generic ribbed rubber as nothing for my Olds exists. The Aero ones might fit however I need to check measurements and PRICE!
Where were you finding the ribbed rubber at? That is definitely an option I would be open to. I'd rather not cut up an old mud flap! haha
I wouldn't pay that either. Fabricated some out of rubber mat to kick the feet on. Glad you found something elsewhere. At a better price?
between $30-$50 for a roll of the ribbed rubber on Amazon and I have a friend with a waterjet that can cut the plates if I make a pattern.. Much better price!
I found my rubber pattern at this place, order by the foot, sometimes on sale. RubberCal.com Didn't bother replacing the metal plates, just adhesive to hold it down. Perfect.
