After working on the wipers, I began the reassembly of the heater box & attending items. Kind of just a comment, but what was Ford thinking with the vacuum lines & control cable inside the heater box/plenum? Seems like an odd way to have an****embly to me Small rant Jim
They were prolly thinking ease of installation on the****embly line; just install the heater bits with the cables and lines as a subassembly instead of piecemeal. Works in a factory setting but leaves serviceability as an afterthought.
