    Beautiful !!
I know I am old, but can't warm up to those wheels...

  3. Nor can I. But that can be fixed with some Halibrand style KOs. The rest of the car tickles my fancy.

I can say that after buzzing through all of Tim's 297 photos there are some mighty nice rides in Cobo Hall this year (click on the red link in the first post with the picture).

    Thanks Tim.

Great Pics. Model A coupe (pic 15-18) a final 8 pick, was quite a build. Young guy 25 yrs. old did most of metal work.

    Thanks guys for the feedback.

I've been to most of the Cobo Autoramas over the last 47 years, and it seemed to me that Hot Rods/Street Rods were more prominent this year than in other recent years, particularly those that trend towards the Traditional Hot Rod ethic. Also good to see some more hot rods in the Great 8 selection this year I'm encouraged. TIM

Nice to see Gene Winfield still chopping tops, and passing on his knowledge to the next generation.

  18. Very nice, thank you.

The blue coupe with the blown ardun heads (#55 - #60) am I seeing the front axle under the frame and the spring over it.

    Good coverage.

  25. Thank you so much for the pictures. It was my first time participating in the show and I didn’t ever get too far from my booth in the basement. I will enjoy seeing what I missed.
