There are quite a few fans of the Edsel here.

Regarding the manuals and/or brochures with the pages stuck together, try using a dinner knife to slowly and carefully pry the pages apart. I've sold thousands of old car brochures, shop manuals and owner's manuals on eBay in the last 15 years and have had to do this dozens of times. If you take your time and do it slowly you should be able to separate them without causing any serious damage to the pages.

Regarding the records and film strips, I have dozens of both from the '50s (mostly Ford) as well as a projector type machine that plays the record and every time there a beep you have to manually change the pic on the film strip. If you find someone who is interested in acquiring any of these items please let me know. Thanks....

Thank you. Will do. Nice ride! The box that the film strips are in has another big compartment at the bottom. Although it's empty, I assumed it housed some sort of projector.

Back around 1974 I was turning wrenches in a Ford dealership. Went in the parts stockroom one day and they were pulling older pages from the parts catalogues. I spied a Pantera Master Parts Catalogue and I'd like to have that! They told me to take it. Full diagrams and part number listings for every part on the Panteras, and it was in perfect condition. Sat on it for over 25 years, then a work acquaintance of mine (I was then working in the aerospace industry) picked up a Pantera that need some work. Told him about the catalogue and he gladly paid me $60 for it. Stuff is still out there!

You never know what cool things you can find dumpster diving or curb shopping. Good score!

That's a cool find. Love that you found a person who had a need for it.

    It's a fact!
