I took some new pics today, I hope these are better to work with. ..could you put the windows down, since the motors dont work right now, I would like to see how it looks with no post. lowered, supremes, paint ideas? Thanks in advance. -John
OK, I got the supremes, it's lowered, and I picked a nice metalflake blue/white two-tone combination... and I got rid of the post, too... I'm such a jack***... I'm sending you a PM with my email, so you can send me bigger pics.
Lighter of the 2 interior blues, white pearl scallops and top, supremes, with the front end dropped a little lower than the front.
Piecrust slicks, skinnys on Halibrands, flattened navy blue, leave the roof plain ol white. maybe throw a couple of speed sjop & equiptment stickers in the rear side gl***.
.......You nailed it with pic 1. I dig the light blue/white accent, theres a 62 impala on wires running around Larghetto with similar colors and I've always admired it. Also I was planning on running the front a bit lower than the rear, it kind of makes the fins & body lines work. ...can you ditch the window post & the door handle(yeah I'm pushy). Thanks. -John
Here's a quickie. Handles are gone and the windows are down..... If the rims are still fuzzy hit F5 on your keyboard.
Here's the same one, without door handles or the B pillar (I thought it was a hardtop). Anything that looks good on a 59-60 Chevy, will look good on the Olds. I'll be down at the barn Wed. about 10 am til ? and Thursday evening after work if you want to come by for a beer. I have to do the brakes on my truck Thursday night.
Here I thought some smart *** would put red rims and flatblack on it and 4T64RD got even worse. My hat's off to you.
BLESS YOU! The DONK (wtf is donk anyway??) DUB thing is ****ing hilarious. You know some 'playa' is going to come across that and think "dawg, that ***** it TIGHT"
