Hot Rods Sbc accessory brackets?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by model A hooligan, Mar 1, 2017.

  1. may be a simple question and a simple answer here;

    Putting together a sbc for a build I'm doing,I need to run a power steering pump and an alternator of course. Looking to run a short water pump. Now what can I search for brackets for the power steering pump,crank pulley,water pulley,alternator bracket that all will work together? I'm not looking for chrome or anything. Just want to get some brackets going. (Power rack) so I need to run a pump. Sorry if it's a dumb question

    I used Bill's Hot Rod Parts on my Fordor. Top quality, fair price and plenty of options, black, chrome, etc. The brackets come with all hardware and even some shims to help with alignment, and they work with readily available pulleys whether OEM or aftermarket.

    The corvettes used them up in the 80s and there were a lot of them sold.
    The P/S pump mount may or may not work.

    One thing to keep in mind is if you are using an 8 inch harmonic balancer, the correct oem power steering pump mounts are VERY hard to find. I think they are being reproduced.
    I found an NOS GM mount years ago.

    The Alan Grove brackets are great. The stock brackets are getting hard to find.

    Another vote for Bill's HotRod brackets--fit well-no issues. Have installed at least 7 sets on small blocks.
