I was wondering if anyone here knew of some pretty good clubs here in NC or SC? Also any idea if there is such thing as a site about clubs like names that have been taken? I thought there was but could be mistaken. I know there are clubs or groups like Kontinentals, Sinners, A-Bombers, Throttlers, etc but I don't know what other names are taken or not... Any info would be appreciated!
Have no idea but I'm interested,too. I just put a contract in on a house right outside Raleigh and will be moving up as soon as my house sells.
I am thinking about starting one and trying to come up with a name, etc. I know a few people that would join but then again don't know a ton of people. I am sure that if I got it all together and went to shows with the decal or shirts on then I would get more people but hell if I know... Too bad you wont be comming down south more. Ralaigh (sp) is like 4 or 4 1/2 hours from here. I don't see many guys here in Charlotte area into traditional hot rods or anything.

Seems to be a lot of you guys more up north of North Carolina... Too bad for me. I have been trying to think of a name but when I think of one I look around on the net and find out the name has been taken. I am sure every name has been taken so I will have to just go with one. Either that or see if the other clubs outside of NC and SC will let me start some other kind of chapter or whatnot.
I will definetely mark that on my calender and try to make it up there. I may bring my 66 F100 if I get my 351W put in it in the next 2 weeks. As long as there are lots of hot rods, good lookin women, good bands and food then I am there!
C'mon Shawn, you know theres barely anyone in our area worth being in a club in. Theres a few guys I've met from charlotte, and theres ALOT of guys in raliegh, but everyone else seems to be ****tered about quite a bit. I never really cared about having or being in a "club" all that much myself, I'd rather just have a few buddies to hang out with, drink some beers, and work on cars. Anything more just seems to create excess ******** & drama. As far as Blood, Sweat, & Gears goes,I'll be taking the wagon up there if all goes well. I want to get to thrashing on it and try to get the paint done by then, that'll be damn near impossible since theres no one to help round here and I have a customer project going too...I still need to track down a place to crash the friday night before the car show so i don't have to stay at the in-laws house, plus I'm really bad at finding my way around raleigh! I tried to pre-register for the show from the Vendettas website, but the e-mail address didn't work?
there's a coupla of us Howlers down here in nc to. i'm in hickory and lou is is kannapolis. the howlers are exactly what justin was talking about. no ********. it's all about friends and the club just happens around that. thats the way it has to be or it will fold. i never cared about being in a club either. but am proud to be a Howler. there are several folks around the charlotte area that are into this stuff but alot of them are way more concerned with building and enjoying their cars than being part of a club. i do think there is a club in charlotte. i forget though and don't make it over there nearly as much. seems like its a bunch of the guys that hang out a the penguin a good bit though. there's guys around it's just everybody else ***umes theres no one else around...ken....
Well Justin, I am wanting to go up there to the show as well. I have to register and all for it I am guessing? I don't know my way around up there either and have only been up to Raleigh a few times and I wasn't the one to drive but that was a few years ago. Let me know what you are doing and going, etc. Also where are you living at? Anywhere near hwy 200?
Oh and screw the sanding *****! I sand every damn day at the shop and come home not able to breath and having nose bleeds too. Probably because I am not wearing a resprator when sanding and sand blasting.
Zman- The house we bought is just south of garner off 42 (I think that's the #). I can't wait, just need to sell this house first. Glad to see some people on here from Raleigh. I had to sell my 54' plymouth to finish remodeling this house, so I'll be looking for a project once I get up there if anyone knows of anything. (49-54 chev or ford, but has to be a driver)...... Is your bar downtown Raleigh or Garner? I don't drink but I'll stop in for a coke when I move up.

Cool that's not to far... Reece and I are both on that side of town... There are a few projects floating around... shouldn't be a problem Raleigh... but it's a quick drive right into town, and home... There is no real Garner downtown....
Not to hijack, but I've been wondering if there are any HAMBers out in the western part of the state. My inlaws live in the Saluda/Hendersonville area, so I'm out that way a couple of times a year.
