Technical What is this used for?

    Don't know if this is automotive related or not but I bet somebody knows. The "C" part is about 2.75 wide. 003.JPG

    Also looks like someone made it into that implement...maybe it's been welded and ground at the funky end?

    Looks like an antique canopy hold down clamp.

    It's used to push the muffler bearings into the muffler.

  7. It is used to entertain hot rod guys who wish it was warm enough to cruise around and go to swap meets but instead are getting a hot rod fix on the Hamb.
    I think it is a clamp to put a patch on a tire, its been altered. Vulcanizing clamp? my best guess

    Old timers know....it's a curiousity clamp for a hoomerhingie.
