Hi. Am new to posting in this group. I have a 54 Olds 2-dr hardtop. I'm swapping in a 61 394 Olds tri-power and a 9.3 inch posi rear end with a 3.90 gear ratio. I have a B&M hydro and I'm looking for someone who is familiar with these in located the Northeast area (New England or thereabouts). I've looked for information in prior years' posts with no success. Given the resurgence of the vintage g***ers, I'm thinking that someone have this kind of information. Thank you

You might try taking a look at the Hydro Tech forum. It doesn't get a lot of traffic but has some folks that know their Hydro's...

Be aware that the Olds 394 engine is externally balanced. You will need an early flywheel with a weight attached in the appropriate spot. B&M used to sell a properly weighted flywheel, not sure if it's still available or not. Bob

Dave50 left the forum a long time ago. I think F&J can get ahold of him...oh wait, he left too...
If you really want to get ahold of Dave, PM me, I can email F&J.
