Thanks for following up and letting us know the resolution. Too many help threads never have any closure, it's nice when the OP comes back and let's everyone know what the end result was.
Always good to know it was solved. When is somebody going to start making condensers. I always used the large Mallory external condenser.
I have read here in the forums the horror stories. I figure 1/2 was fake and only believe 1/2 what you hear. It seems that condensers are a real issue. Sadly I dont think any manufacturers care. Puts on big puppy dog sad eyes and looks at the manufacturer.
Imagine that, a bad condenser. In a pinch, you can always grab a motor run capacitor and wire it into the circuit. It'll get you home, and probably outlast any automotive condenser on the market today. But not traditional.......
