  15. NHRA spent a lot of money to bring some of the racers in. The rules about pit support vehicles ( golf carts ) $ 50.00 insurance to be able to use them for the intended purpose, not allowing some very traditional cars run 1/8 mile, or even do burnouts didn't help. The expected attendance was not there. If NHRA can't make a profit, they won't play. A better event is the Orange Drag Strip Re-union. Many more race cars, a lot more spectators, a lot more fun.     Orange drag is nice but wish it was longer track... Cars cant get up for wheelies etc.
