Any pix of the purple/teal laced roof '62 Impala @ Roundup?

    It's mine. I got parked in streetrod land, so I was away from the action. I checked the other picture posts and didn't see anything. Reason I ask is I didn't take any pix after I put it all together and my camera sux-I was hoping someone with a better set-up got pix...

    Funniest thing about this is that I was the ONLY ONE WITH LACE THERE....No pix...

    Actually the credit there goes to the 'non-painter' LUX BLUE @ Crushproof. I did sand the hell outta that thing. Yeah, that oil change guy was all in personal space-noticed he got some pix taken:( The pix that were taken look great-love the detail on the roof Slonaker:D:D:D Denise I walked back in Koolsville for several hours and only saw the people I already knew! Mark-shut-up, you were all about being by that ORANGE wagon that you're sooo in love with! You should marry it and then you can be all gay with it;) Necro-thanx for the big-ups; I'll try and get some details on the shave for ya!

    How did you handle the transition between the satin and shiny paint? I don't see any sort of trim in these pictures, just the body line. I am looking for ideas for the roof of my '58.

    Oh yeah, it looks slick!

    I'm sorry, it's just that my car is jealous now that they can't be all 'broke back' together. :D
    Kart-I prefer 'shop gimp', thanks:D:D:D I've never denied being a nerd (pushes up gl***es)...
    steely-the candy and satin hit right where the 'hardtop' line sits. There's an indention there, so it sank right in...

    well i prefer nerd...and i wasnt sure...because there was a couple other lowriders with lace paint out in the parking lot....just wanted to make sure it was yours.
