You got that right. One of the BEST videos of that time I have come across. Just wish it had SOUND too.

 

I would say with that one you also found the meaning of life .

 

As John would say in his Jersey accent Uh No.
Me and a couple other friends have built everything on the chassis other than having the tubing bent.
John is a big part of the project. He's done all the bodywork up until starting on the roof. He painted the doors, prepped a bunch of other stuff and will be painting the rest of it.
He's also making my dash insert and polishing my blower and drive among other things.

There is 1"x 1" bar stock drilled, tapped and then welded inside the frame.

Taking out the old lead to put in the new roof section imported from Sweeden.

Molded the bump on the nose off the original.

Roofs almost ready for new lead. Tail pans also coming along and push bars done.

Fantastic build, Otie would be proud. It wouldn't surprise if it is nicer than the original car.

 

One hell of a job. You should be proud of the work you and everybody put into bringing it back to life. Well done.

It's very close to the color one I posted in this thread post 42 maybe the photographers were standing right next to each other.





Got it off the net with a bunch of other cars. You can be sure I keep an eye out for any Otie shots I come across.
