I don't know about those 2 but this will give you a bump. I have a Rotary brand and it's been great.

I repair, install lifts and am a service center for bendpak and I would never buy a bendpak.

I got an Eagle XLT (little wider and longer) 4-post and I love it.

Atlas automotive products are pretty much low quality mostly off shore, and forget trying to get replacement parts. They all speak excellent English during the sale but not so good when needing help. We inherited 2 Atlas hoists and after bring unable to get simple service parts Many calls and 3 weeks later)we listed them on Craigslist for "Free" just remove them from our shop. In the same shop there was a 15 year old Ben Pak scissor lift had badly worn pivot pins and bushings. The name tag was obliterated and no numbers could be seen.

We called Ben Pak and they asked us to email some photos for identification. Within 20 minutes they called back and gave us the part numbers and told us the parts were in stock ready for shipment. Not only did we receive the parts in 3 days they included a service manual.

My vote goes to Ben Pak because they are a US company not off shore junk.

    just sayin'

    Hi
Just make sure it does not have plastic pulleys. also has good cables and lock system. I have the Atlas 8000 and has been good. The only thing is the width is too narrow for my truck.so make sure you know how wide you need.
    Regards
    Dave

I have a Bend Pak, have had it for 13 years. Best investment I have made for working on cars. Never had a problem.

I bought a secondhand Bendpak 4 post lift a couple of years ago; Bendpak isn't an especially well known brand here in the UK. but when I looked it over before buying, I thought that it was a quality item, especially when measured against the Cheapanese products. I built the Bendpak lift up and and installed it in my garage. It's been absolutely reliable since then..

Here's its first lift in my ownership......

I have a 4 post atlas in my home garage. Its good for its intended purpose to work on my hobby cars occasionally and an extra parking place. They say it right in a disclaimer that they aren't intended for daily shop use and abuse. The atlas fit my needs.

Bought a Back Yard Buddy years ago and would be lost without it. Probably the most concise instructions I've ever seen. Had to move it once from one building to another and disassembly and reassembly was a piece of cake.

I have two Bendpac lifts and they are great. I chose to get them in red to match my tool boxes. We have a agent in Knoxville who was very helpful with the purchase. The only problem was a fail to unlatch. I called the agent and she quickly sent me info to adjust it. It was my fault, not a problem with the lift. When I was putting them up, I was able to call their customer service with no problems. Them were very helpful and they promptly answer the calls. I never got put on hold. I chose them after seeing them in several shops on TV, like Jay Leno and others. I highly recommend them.

Mines a Worth 4 Post Cable lift with drive on ramps like a muffler shop, it's 15 years old now has made thousands up and down trips thru 3 builds and has performed flawlessly.

I have used a Bendpak for seven years now. It is reliable and well-made, and makes working on cars a lot easier.

This one would be better for:

    www.garagejournal.com

If you check it out, you'll find all kinds of information on lifts and what not.
