Anyone have a part# for these, I ordered one from O'reilly which was supposedly correct but it was wrong, center hole was too big and the overall height was too shallow. Just to let you know Its on my Model A pick up,I have 48 spindles and F100 hubs. So now I dont know which drum I'm supposed to have, I've checked all the years and nothing looks like it'll fit. The ones I have are a little torn up and need to be replaced. Any help?
if you are using `53-`56 F-100 front brakes, why not use 1956 ford f-100 front brake drums? or are you using 48-52 f-1 brakes ? http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/s...ap?model=F-100&vi=5230934&year=1956&make=Ford
Thats what I have ordered as a replacement for the ones I have but they were different , I have 56 f100 brake shoes and the they are supposedly 56 f100 brake drums on the front, but now I dont know what I have. I cant contact the previous owner to ask him.
Sounds like you maybe have F-1 hubs; if so, you won't find any regular drums for them; but you can use '80 Bronco rear drums. I've been getting 8951 drums from AutoZone or 2677DGS from O'Reilly. They are for wider shoes; but it doesn't matter. F-100 drums are shallower than F-1 drums and the center hole is wrong too.
