I've searched for the top window seals for the '55 Victoria and don't find them. Does anyone know a source?
    thanks, Gene

No luck, He said no one reproduces it. It is a good resource for future, though.

Sure would like to find some place to get the metal/felt tracks for the sliding side windows on the wagons.

You have to post up pictures of what you need. Best sources are Steele Rubber and Restoration Specialties.

Good luck getting anything for the wagon. You'll have to get some universal cut to fit weather strip. The aftermarket suppliers have no interest in reproducing it.

X2, I have no idea what a "top window" is.....unless yours is a Crown Vic with a plexi roof.

I recall somebody saying the wagons could be done with the 72" sticks we talked about in another thread for the doors. 72" is too short to one piece it, so I was going to ask Bob about his statement that they were available in 96" sticks. None of us to date had been able to locate anything longer than the 72"

We have two different subjects going here, but "top window" in the original post would have been better worded as "window top" to describe the seal at the top of the side windows at the roof line. I think it is known as the top rail seal. I don't find them anywhere and have been told they are not reproduced. Subs***utes or approaches others have taken to replace them would be appreciated.

Thanks. Old age strikes again, probably coulda figured that out in my younger years.
Now I have to ***ume you're talking about the hardtop flippers, I've been told they are close enough to Chevy that they will work with some small mods. Of course, being for a Chevy, you know those are available.

Thanks for the 8' channel sources, Bob.

There are no specialty suppliers strictly for the 1955 to 1956 Fords that I know of. The 1957 by itself and the 1957 to 1959, yes. Otherwise like Texas stated, you have to run across someone that has found something that has worked.

I'll repeat myself, Restoration Specialties is still one of the best sources. Email or call Jeff, get a catalog, best $5 you'll ever spend. It gives dimensions of almost everything they have.

    Check post # 2 for a reference to a '55-'56 parts supplier.
Thanks for the reference to Restoration Specialties. I had checked their on line catalogue and the top rail seal for the '55 isn't listed. I'm sure it is a good reference and I'll order the catalogue. Someone has had to deal with this before, there has to be a solution.

Are you talking about the roof rail seals? The rubber weather stripping that slides into the top that the windows seal against?

I know they make 52-4, but I'm not sure about '55.
