Like the white one a lot, but like the bumper on the red one....looks like maybe a Chebby bumper? Is that white one's front bumper stock?? I'll have to go back to some '59 pics, but it looks like it should be a back bumper to me.
That Ranchero is bad****. I should know this but the black 56 Crown Vic, what grill is that? I'm guessing 54 Chevy?
I think this was a test. The crown Vic is a shiney black 55 and the matte black is a 56 Victoria and they have the same wheels? Am I right? Desoto grille?
Wow,this is beautiful and unusual at the same time, the paint job is very similar to that of the chevys. HRP
Almost missed this pic. Gorgeous car especially with the nightime lighting. This pic more than most I've seen shows the major differences in '57 body styles. vs my avatar
The Skyliners all had the wide C pillar for the strength, I much prefer the thinner C pillars on the regular bodies. I wonder how long the folding roofs would have lasted with skinny C pillars.
You're correct.....sure wouldn't have lasted too long, I didn't say, but I was mainly referring to the rear quarters with the Fairlanes having taller and more sculpted fins, and the front of the fin sweeping downward where the Customs are straight.
When i'm out at the track I never have anyone to take pictures of me Racing. Found this picture a few days ago browsing internet of me Racing at the 2016 Antique Nationals. 53 Victoria known as Tricky Vicky.
They were making the windshield visors for 1952-54 but may not be in stock now rumor about a production fix in the works.
