Hot Rods out of a long slumber, just an ol 36 Ford roadster, no big deal

My friends son and his wife inherited a 36 Ford collection and this is one of them. I tried to post using the mobile app. and the pix didn't come thru, hope they do this time.

I see a chromed grille, sealed beam conversions and looks like a newer rearend without the wide 5 pattern. Maybe a custom interior, looks like white vinyl. No taillights? Is this thing a rod? What's in it for a motor? What else was in the collection?

The collection contained, two woodies, one sedan delivery, I phaeton (sold), two 3 window coupes (one sold, keeping one), one pickup, one rough 5 window (sold), one four-door sedan, ton of parts. Most of this stuff is sold or being sold. An unbelievable lot of stuff. Also a 47 Merc 4 door sedan, a 61 Merc four door sedan. The red roadster shown has a flathead in it, haven't put an ID on it yet, no ****** or driveshaft, had a pretty firm offer and then it fell through. It is priced as is at $35k.

After looking at the roadster pictures I say get the thing running and driving as is. The body looks very solid and the interior looks good as well. Unbelievably cool find.
