I have a dead Suzi T350 I got from G V Gordon... haven't gotten to looking at what's wrong with it yet.

I used to have a '74 GT250 as my only transportation for about a year. Kept up in city traffic, You know what size I am, I was 80lbs lighter then and I would still go through the clutch.

Had to keep at least one set of plugs under the seat at all times... it would oil foul the plugs at the drop of a hat (mostly while sitting at a light).

Well with all of the culture and excitement that LARGhettO has to offer, how do you have time for any of your projects???? ;)

My '77 RD400D w/ B***ani chambers, 38mm Mikunis, balanced and welded crank, mild porting, and reworked squish ran low 12's all day long... pretty much carried the front for the 1st 1/8th... I actually like the regular RD400 better than the Daytona Special, especially the heads, the Daytona had already started to bow to the emissions BS....

Done right they are rock solid reliable even with the oil injection... Like just about any other bike from the era they can benefit from a little ch***is help... Bronze swingarm bushings, tapered steering bearings, steering dampner... The H1 and H2 needed actual bracing in the ch***is, otherwise they felt like they had a hinge in the middle when ridden hard...

My buddy Jason Small built that bike. He's a talented painter and restorer, he painted the 1956 Mangham/Wilson/Allen Bonneville Streamliner that burned a few years ago:
