Has anybody chopped a 46 ,47, or 48 GM fastback Olds Pontiac Buick or fleetline. I have a 46 Olds Fastback and am looking for as many ideas, links or pictures if possible. I am thinking 2 to 3 inch not too much, If I drive into a lake or river I would like to swim out if you now what I mean. Open for ideas, Thanks.
Hard chop to pull off, but when done right they look so damn good! Mr48chevy is 100 percent correct, you have to take the top down along with the entire rear deck or it will look like ass.
This was from the forsale ad on it. "The build-up of the car to its current state has been well-documented here on the HAMB, and can be seen in the following links" http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=235486 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=225392 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=208995 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=202209 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=184711 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=179977 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=168229

An old HAMB thread, unfortunately all the old photos of the chop process are no longer displayed and member hasn't been online for 1yr now.
The complete build has been posted from step to step on a website called Rat Rods rule under 1946 Oldsmobile Sent from my LG-H830 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
