1952-59 Ford Disc brakes

has anyone used mark 5 disc brakes on a 53?

 

They are off a 78 mark 5

 

Dave, Keep in mind that you have a kingpin front end. Other than a bolt on kit to your spindles, you don't have a lot of choices. The Mark Five parts and spindles will not fit on your car directly. Dave

I used Dave's brakes on my '53. Work great and easy to install. Dave is very helpful. Give him a call.

Ok will do. I asked because a friend of mine has some mark five brakes laying around and if the would have worked he was willing to give them to me so I figured I asked. But I will contact you Dave as my buddy is looking for disc brakes and drop spindles for his 64 galaxie

 

Dave, you probably would not want the Lincoln setup, they are 5x5 bolt pattern I beleive.
