Molly.......I use a Canon Elan7 35mm. And I got lucky with that shot. A snow storm was moving in FAST! and took just a few frames before it opened up on us. I usually use fuji film. I like the color better. Those are just my opinions. Beside the film and camera are secondary........it's the eye behind the lens. Sometimes I get lucky.

Of course, I agree that the shooter is the ultimate in the end result of the image. You wouldn't happen to remember the exact type of fuji film you shot on? NPC perhaps?

    does this count as art?

  6. This little vacuum vise was given to me for Christmas by my oldest son.He thought it would be great for displaying panels at a show or something.Actually it works great for holding odd shaped stuff to stripe.I attach it to my hood(or any smooth surface, put in the part and stripe away!Had to decorate it a bit(nothing gets out of my shop unstriped!)

And a drawing of an Ala Kart Touring I've been working on:

    Hey K&R,

If I remember correctly, within the last six months a picture of a finished Ala Kart Touring was included in a show coverage in Scale Auto Enthusiast magazine or Model Cars magazine. It looked very good. Barris really should have built one as a companion to the Ala Kart. They would have looked great together.

They are its on their website, its called the "Ala Tub"

Not a very good picture...but here's one of my fishtanks - it's art right? It was made by Kustombuilder out of the TV we had at our lakehouse for many years. I LOVE aquariums and fish.....

Thats cool Barnett...I have a friend that is a striper and signpainter...but if he painted that door .....something would have been misspelled (something ALWAYS gets misspelled with him!) Nice work!

[IMG] Funny you mentioned that...I almost left out the "h" in "Psychodelic"! No kidding! I had it all layed out, paint and brush in my hand and for some reason I gave it one more look! [IMG] That was close. The glovebox's finish is a little oxidized so it would've been tricky to get the paint off without leaving a ghost or taking off lots of the red. whew.

I figured you spelled it that way on purpose, just thought it was funny with the talk of misspelling...

  22. I'm trying to learn how to use my budget-digi camera a bit better, so excuse the poor quality of this pic., please. My good buddy, and all around talented artist, Nailhead60 (Ron Palmer) painted this cap for me.... [IMG]

Everyone knows there is 2 types of dictionaries!. One for regular folk and one for sign painters.
Hey Brian, the stuff inside the Tiki is neat I always like to doing goofy stuff like that, backs of dash boards, inside glove box lids etc. Our race car has stuff on it that would never be seen unless the car is totally disassembled!

Hey Sean, You realize that multi-talented people piss most of us off. Very nice job on the stiping. Must go practice now. Done anything on the Caddy yet?
