    Hand push start at El Mirage. We did that last May at with the Left's Speed Shop/Bean Bandits flathead powered belly tank lakester (had no push truck available). That was our fastest run ever at El Mirage, 155+mph. We also had one hell of a tail wind.

    Jimmy Bryan might have been the only driver to have driven this car in Practice during 1960. Owner Myron Osborn had tried to enter both Foster Campbell and Eddie Jackson as drivers but both were turned down for lack of experience. The car obviously passed Technical Inspection because a car couldn't go into the pits until it had its Tech sticker.

    Rootie, Did anyone else drive this car that year? Thanks for posting.
