I talked with them...they don't make a kit specifically for that car, but have all of the independent components to get the job done. thaks for your help.

The term "Riviera" is a bit confusing in the early days. Get out of your mind the totally distinct model "Riviera" introduced in '63.

How it all started was the Roadmaster "Riviera" in '49, which was a hard-top (2-door, of course). This design found its way in to the Super model in 1950 and the Special in 1951.

Then there was the Riviera Sedan in the Roadmaster and Super models which featured extra chrome, a longer wheelbase adding extra legroom in the rear seat, some standard amenities, and a rear vent window fixed to the body of the car. These began in 1950, and ran through 1953.

I think the title was used off and on through the years to denote a trim level, but never had the distinction of it's own body parts and wheel-base per the early years.

All that changed in 1963 with the design of a whole new car - which Cadillac didn't have the brains to grab when it had the chance.

    Happy wrenching,

    Doug Cook

Yeah its mine. I am running a 4link on the rear with stock coils right now. I am going to be changing it to a triangulated 4link soon. You should have coils in the rear righ now. Are you going to keep the original drive train?

    Hey CG-
I just got my Buick home today...I drove it all the way from Omaha, it took us about 5 hrs...What does the traingulated 4 link do...yes, I have coils all the way around, which should make it very easy to bag all corners...for now, yes, I am keeping the original DT...any tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated, I really like the wheel covers you have and whitewalls...BTW, I did lose one wheel cap on the way home today-

    Best Regards-
    Darren
