I don't have anything to do with this auction, but there is some pretty cool stuff. Really liked the dusty '41 Ford He****. http://www.sullivanauctioneers.com/auction/huge-collector-car-antique-tractor-collection-2/
I knew Bob and visited his shop once in while, and I can tell you, His long time body /painter was a Master Craftsman, in my option. His work was unbelievable. This will be the chance of a life time to buy some really nice stuff. See ya there!
I met Bob years ago when he was showing his 40 Ford Custom in the 80`s. Then he was showing his chopped Cad Eldorado. His 40 Ford pickup was a contender for Goodguys best pickup. Goodguys also had a stop at his place years ago.
Simply amazing collection of all things collectible. Best thing about it is alot of the collection will get back out to see the light of day again. Thanks for sharing @40LUV
Ha, just so happens we will be in Iowa at that time ,though i doubt our pockets or patience are deep enough. Sounds like it will a crazy time .
Unbelievable really! The fact that someone can ac***ulate that much stuff! Pedal cars stacked 10 deep!
Too cool, Thanks for posting, 40LUV. Anybody know what year the Goodguys tour stopped there? And more importantly, are there pictures? I read online that Mr Gabline had all his hot rods out on display for when the tour stopped there. Would be nice to see more of the collection.
There is a guy not too far from there that has a big stash of cars but they are sitting outside,I got a 66 F250 from him off ebay and wanted to look around but he was mad that it did not sell for as much as he would have liked so I did not push it and loaded up the truck and headed home.
