interesting - an existing club? Connecticut must be very liberal about modifying plates

You are right Joker. I once got an "altered plate" citation because I had my license plate pinstriped.

I haven't got stopped yet, as long as your not stupid on the road. My club no meetings, no dues, just need a hot rod & go to our yearly burger run.

Wish we had one for the HAMB that we could readily purchase for our cars.

Been running a plate painted to match the Zipper for 15 years. Since it's registered as a 1999 homebuilt, I can't get a YOM plate. So, I got a personalized plate with the correct 1927 numbers and put the yearly stickers on it. The correct '27 plate is black with white numbers. The only time I ever got a ticket was a parking ticket! MVC-002F.JPG

With all due deference to a long established group on the West Coast, a few us run these here in So. Maryland.:) 20151126_0923432_zpsuspeggab.jpg

Very Cool and they had a real period correct look to the cars.

I think I should go out in the shop and look for my original 1916 Connecticut plate and I think I have a few from 1932 and 1933 that are all untouched from original.

I will post a few pictures of each one when I get a few minutes.
