I've been searching for a new project for myself for a while and this is what I got. It's a Pontiac ´41, in pretty good shape and almost complete. I asked the seller if he knows any small blocks laying around because I don't need the original inline flathead six and 3-speed manual. And I don't want to ship home stuff I won't need. Luckily he had an Impala '64 parts car going to crusher and I'm able to pull off its 327 and Powerglide and swap them into ´41. Perhaps I try to find 9-in. or 10-bolt rear end from local junk yard for Pontiac to replace the original unit. I already have all seats from 64-Riviera which I'm throwing in. Other mods in my mind include fender skirts, slamming to the ground, headlight treatment, taillights into the rear bumber, wide whites, contemporary brakes...

Any photos of similar cars? Anyone has one on the HAMB? Some photoshopped ideas...?

    Thanks, Mika

Mika, nice score, but you've got too many projects! How much longer are you going to be in the States? Keith

Hi Keiths haha! Where's K-Member??? Hudsonkustom: Thanks for offer! I might need some help, though the seller promised to storage the car for a while. Coupehead: Yes, I really do have too many projects, I'm thinking to sell a few of them when I get back home. Maybe keep only the Coupe and this new one. I'm leaving in September....

The coils were cut, but I'm not sure how much. This used to be Rocky's car and he did the lowering. It has 3" lowering blocks in the rear.

    First off.......Nice score!!!
Second............ If your refering to the car in my avatar,
Thats not mine. That one belongs, (belonged), to the Iowa customizer "Lee Pratt" who by the way set me on the conquest to find one of these YEARS ago when i saw it in an old "Hot Rod" mag.

Do a google search, Lee Pratt's 41 Or, "Fun in Lee Pratt's 41" (You'll see what i mean).
Mines a project, not nearly in the shape yours is in.
    Heres delivery day of mine............

Thanks Hip, I appreciate. Those photoshopped pictures look KILLER! Stratostreaker: Good to know it's been done with coils, I wasn't sure how much can be done by that way. Perhaps I will bag the rear and just cut a few coils on the front for "stance". Rolf: Yes, I will sell the Electra conv. to finance my Model A Coupe, too bad you need to come and get it from Finland now... lol
