  1. Yep, Grosse Pte. is fancy. That's the opposite side of Detroit from me. Was going to recommend some cruise nights on this side of town if your were looking for something to do. There are plenty on that side of Detroit also. Leave yourself at least a full day for the Henry Ford Museum.

Up changing a diaper and it dawns on my you'll be passing threw Joplin/Springfield Missouri. It's just a bit south of us and we have been getting tons of rain, like a foot of rain. Make sure you pay attention to the weather forecast and keep your bottle of rain ex handy.

And as always there's a hamb guy with in helpful distance just about anywhere you go, I know a few down there should you need a hand, a shop or even just a break :)

  3. Sounds like a fun trip! IF you have time, and depending on how far you are out from Tulsa, this weekend is the Stray Kat 500, in Dewey (Bartlesville, OK area). Mick and the Stray Kats put on a cool event. Well worth the stop, if it works within your calendar.

Thanks, I didn't think about air shocks, good idea. I'm going to watch closely and might do that. And I've been playing with pressure and just 2lbs less in front actually helped a lot. Thanks for your comment!

Amarillo. Cars running like a top, snow all around and super windy, but trip is going great and super fun. Tomorrow we'll take our time through OK to take in more cheesy sites and hopefully hit some better weather and camp.

Ooooooklahoma!!! And Texas. Great day. Although my rear main seal is lettin loose and my rear end is shooting grease out the vent instead of venting, car is doing what it should. I adjusted my steering box and got the tire pressure dialed in so today driving was all good. More cheesy 66 stuff, but once we hit Oklahoma, the roads were better and Route 66 was too. We saw a lot, but Seaba Motorcycle Museum was neat, especially the building it was in, which was a machine shop in the 90s and a garage since '24. Then we decided to camp, and after some off roading for a few miles, came to a remote and beautiful lake, where after setting up camp I sat by the water til dark listening to geese, owls, wild turkey, jumping fish, and reflected on a wonderful day adventurin'!

Welp, had to take a detour south because we were going to hit a lot of rain towards Chicago. So hauling ass through Arkansas, not much picture worthy, but roads ain't bad and not much wind so making good time. We'll hit Memphis and Nashville now instead of on the way back and hit what we missed next week when heading home. Car is good, except for leaky main seal and bottomed out spring, but things could be worse! We are happy and livin it up!

Yeah there's a rad hot rod shop I'd check out if I was in the area.... IMG_6623.PNG don't know if he's on the hamb but there's an Instagram link. His in Tennessee somewhere, I can't remember right now.

Really anywhere 100 miles around. NAsheville is pretty, of course if you head north from Nashville you can stop at metropolis, just off the highway is a gas station with a super man cut out to stick your head in but if your head towards town there's s big super man statue downtown

That's all I can think of off the top of my head

  28. Elvis Presley's Graceland is in Memphis. Expensive to get in but am told it is worth it if you are into the Elvis thing. I believe they just opened a new museum there as well.

One thing on your way would probably be the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green. Supposed to have a manhole looking down into the "Cave".
