Ya, but not in the same sentance when your talking about shaking the hand of an older gentleman............. but I did know what ya meant

 

My favorite A Bros car was **** Baileys chopped purple 50 Merc with white scallops that was on the cover of Custom Craft in Feb 62. The car was later featured on the cover of Popular Customs in 65 . In the article they mistakenly said that it was a revamp of Jerry Quesnels car. Any one with eyes would know that this wasnt true exept for my hero Pat Ganahl.

And if you haven't seen it already, highly recommended would be the excellent interview with the bros. in Mad Fabricators Society DVD Vol. 3.

 

Got to meet Mike in Louisville at the 02 Nats. What a nice guy. HE visited with my brother and I for at least a 1/2 hr. Told us about finding the truck (if memory serves me it was then owned by "The Egytian" in Dayton Ohio) and the complete rebuild of it. HE was selling these hat pins but gave each of us one,damn cool to get that.
