Technical Rochester monojet carb replacement

    Alright carburetor experts, I need to simply know what carb is an upgrade from a Rochester. The Rochester I have just has too many leaking problems even after a couple rebuilds. By the way the engine is a 235.

    What is an upgrade from a Rochester B??? A leaky boot!

    Seriously, Carter offered a number of type YF carburetors specifically calibrated for the 235 with linkage specifically made to attach to the 235. Just need to know year, and vehicle (truck carbs generally have manual chokes, p***enger vehicles have automatic chokes).

    Thanks a bunch Jon! I picked up an Autoline monojet and installed it with very little modifications. The only problem I have now is getting the gas from spitting out of the carburetor while trying to start the engine. Any suggestions????
