And Eelco made some with silver faces. I'm ***uming that your temp gauge is mechanical. Does it still have the line?...just curious.
Someone told me a long time ago that it stands for "Vehicle Display Output" . I don't know. I do know that there is a company named VDO that makes automotive gauges and I wonder if it somehow related to that company.
My Brand new Airguide Tach in my 64 Galaxie! I got it new in the box with a waterslide decal from the nephew of a woman that used to work at the factory ! He was going to actually throw it in the garbage! He didn't know better!
These are Faria gauges, from the late 80's I believe. Faria traditionally has made boat gauges, but apparently made a few auto gauge sets back then,

Not mine however I saw it on E-Bay and thought it was different Is this technically a gauge, my NOS oil eye I've posted these previously and had the instruments in my 46 Olds refurbished with modern movements however I maintained OEM appearance and added a tacho as well, amps to volts as well as increasing oil pressure and water temperate, and speedometer I even have a NOS vacuum gauge for aesthetics
