About a year ago, I took the master cylinder off my 1940 chevy and now I have finally gotten around to putting it on. I have forgotten how to hook up the spring for the clutch pedal. Also, the clutch pedal doesn't sit right and it used to sit right and work perfectly. The clutch still works now. Does anyone have any ideas? Right now I just need to be able to drive the car out of my shop and into a barn 100 yards away. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Have done a few of them - the pedal & arm bolt directly together with no shiny nut between them. If nothing has been lost, bent, or substituted, you have parts mixed up. Your shop manual has pictures ...
