    Hey Knuck,
Nice photo of the famous Von Dutch Flying Eyeball. That has always been one of my favorite drawings. I always tried to copy it when I was little in 56-57, but never could get anything that resembled that original. So, jump up many years later and I though with a computer, at least I can try to draw something that resembles the original idea. I modified the original eyeball and added in my own red eye pencil flames, surrounded by my own computer drawn flames. Circa 1999/2000, very early PC computers.

When PC/APPLE personal computers came out, the drawing programs were crude. They were acceptable to mess around with the many mistakes and erase easily. (draw, cut paste, fill, etc.) They all were mouse pointer use. With the newer Wacom drawing boards that came later, it can be computer drawn, but with your own hand.

But, with those early computers and using the mouse, the hand drawn flames took a long time to get it right and even. Sometimes, using my own hand is much better to draw flames and do pinstriping.
