Hello I was looking for a little guidance. I heated and drooped my 40 ford spindles on my 27 T. I needed to change the location of my steering box after mock up . Now I need to re heat and bend the steering arm down about an additional inch to clear the bone. I was told by a few it shouldn't be a problem, another said not to do it "only get one shot at bending them " I was hoping to get opinions from Hamb members. Thanks

Remember to let them cool naturally -- no quenching.

If you really want some re***urance, have them Magnaflux crack tested at your favorite machine shop after heating and bending.
