    Factory spec restoration would not include that spare tire cutout, that started in '54, those arm rests are from a General Motors car. Great truck.

    Cosmo49 is right on about the spare tire on the fender. And Chevy was on the driver's side, GMC on the p***enger side. Also, just for trivia's sake, 1954 was the first year a two-tone paint job was offered and the top could only be had in white. 1954 was also the first year for color coordinated interior but limited to green and blue.
