A picture of Australian hot rodding history. The roadster on the right was built here in Brisbane and owned by John Anderson. The car has been rebuilt with a lot of the original stuff and looks like the original one in the picture. Even the number plates are the same.
That is probably the old Surfers Paradise Drag Strip although I see a Dragens Hot Rod Club logo on the overalls. That club is still going strong and does the Valla Park Rod Run and recently did a run called the Rattletrap on the beach like TROG.
